So, if you still haven't heard, we converted our garage in to a 32-seat listening room. With four Bose Towers with six sub-woofers,  the sound is just pristine - it's really a music lovers haven. Vortex Park will play there at least once a month - you can see when we're playing and purchase tickets in our store - and you'll want to get them early, as they sell out! We also will be booking other acts, as well, which will be also be listed in our store.
 Local artists' works adorn the walls, all of which are for sale. The original artwork is quite impressive. Some of the works are Giclée's printed by Gallery Street - these reproductions are printed on canvas, stretched and framed - they are truly exquisite and are an affordable means for owning orignial artwork.
Next to the listening room is a stocked-full refrigerator with beer and wine, complimentary with the ticket price for Vortex Park's shows. Enjoy your beverages with a nice spread of snacks before and after the show and during the break. We'll all be hanging out as we have a seat by the fire cauldron in the woodsy backyard.
 Beyond the refreshment area is a full ProTools recording studio running through a Mackie 24-8 with Avalon compression. Vortex Park shows are recorded and eventually will be available for download in our store. As each Bose Tower has its own track, so will it be recorded that way - expect very good live show recordings - not your typical "board mix".
We are constantly making efforts to improve the experience with new material, new arrangements, guest musicians - we'll even be adding video to the show soon. We also have begun to book other choice acts in the room, as well. It is our intention that you never see the exact same show twice.
If you are an artist interested in booking a show in our room, send us an email. We are looking for original acoustic acts, or acts that can play sets acoustically, as the room doesn't lend itself for a loud, electric show. We don't care about your style - it just needs to have that quality - you know who you are!
